The Danbury Boys Program will be held in at Danbury High School in Danbury, CT  It will run from September 13th through October 25th.

The groups are split by age and within age by ability using a station training approach to ensure that skills are fully attained.  Half of each session is skill development, and the balance is in small sided games to utilize the skills being taught.

Group schedules are: Boys Grades 5-9 - 9am to 11:00 am  Boys Grades 10-12 will train from 11:00 to 1pm..  Boys should bring cleats, pads, stick, and water.  Email is used to communicate reminders, schedule changes, or weather related information. Please be sure that you check your email regularly. 

We take injuries seriously. Please be sure to let your coach know of any injuries you incur during practice. 

. We know that problems can occur during the course of a season. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any problems or concerns you may have. We are committed to making Fall Ball a positive experience for every athlete who participates. 

Dress for the weather - extra water for hot days, sweats as Fall comes on. Check the forecast to the left.  Check this page for any last minute weather related announcements. 

 

Program Director

Jason Ouellet

Head Coach Western Connecticut State

 

West Conn Head Coach Jason Ouellet is at the helm of the Colonials after serving as assistant coach for two seasons.  He helped the squad to an 11-5 record in 2005, just the second year of the varsity program.
 

Prior to arriving in Danbury, Coach Ouellet served as an assistant coach at Yale University.  He played his collegiate lacrosse at traditional powerhouse Hobart College.  During his senior year, Jason was named Team Captain, and appeared in the North-South All-Star Game.  He was also elected twice to the Patriot League’s All-Conference squad.

 

 

A Connecticut native, Jason attended Avon Old Farms School, where he played lacrosse and hockey.  He was selected to the All-Founder’s League team during his senior year. 

Jason looks forward to working with the next generation of lacrosse players and helping the sport continue to grow in the region

 

Assistant Program Director
Paul Purdy

Paul Purdy is the coach of the Danbury Boys Lacrosse Team and brings his coaching and playing skills to Fall Ball.

Springfield College attackman was named honorable mention STX/USILA Division III All-Americans after leading the Pride to its fourth Pilgrim League Championship and NCAA Tournament berth in the last five years.

Purdy was also named the Pilgrim League Player of the Year and a New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) second-team selection this spring. He finished second for the Pride with 64 points (31 goals, 33 assists) and wrapped up his career as the seventh all-time leading scorer in school history with 204 points (120 goals, 84 assists).
