Danbury Girls Program

The Danbury Girls Program will be held at Danbury High School, CT 06830  It will start on Sunday, September 9th and will run through October 21st. Girls will train from 1pm to 3pm.  Girls should bring cleats, pads, stick, eye protection and water.  Email is used to communicate reminders, schedule changes, or weather related information. Please be sure that you check your email regularly. 

We take injuries seriously. Please be sure to let your coach know of any injuries you incur during practice. 

We'll be scheduling optional tournaments at the conclusion of Fall Ball.  Check here to be notified of the schedule and opportunities to signup. We know that problems can occur during the course of a season. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any problems or concerns you may have. We are committed to making Fall Ball a positive experience for every athlete who participates. 

Program Directors
 


 Lauren Scott:  Head Coach of the Danbury High School Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Team, Lauren Scott has also directed and worked at numerous summer lacrosse camps in recent years.

 She is an active advocate in promoting lacrosse to young girls and women in the area.  A 2004 graduate of Western Connecticut State University, Scott was a four-year starter with the WCSU Women's Lacrosse Team, and served as captain for two seasons.

She earned numerous titles there, including 2003 Little East All Conference Attack; 2002 Little East All Conference Midfielder, and 2001 All Newla Conference Defender.  She continues to hold the WCSU scoring record. Lauren graduated from Fairfield High School in 1999.

Molly Lensbeth currently serves as Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Ridgefield High School, having earlier served as freshman lacrosse coach. 

A graduate of the University of Delaware, Lenseth played there on both the NCAA level and club team level, and captained her junior and senior year.  She led the club team to the Nationals  (where she still holds the record for the highest number of goals in a single game) freshman and senior year, taking 10th in the nation.   

At Yorktown High School, Lenseth played for four years on the varsity lacrosse team, which
won the State Championship her freshman year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Coaches Scott and Lensbeth will be assisted by outstanding coaches and current players from the region.

DANBURY HIGH SCHOOL - Take 84 to exit 5. Go to the stop sign at the end of the exit and down the hill to the light. Make a left onto Main Street. Main Street becomes Clapboard Ridge Road at the next light. Continue up Clapboard Ridge about 2 miles to Beckerly Street on your right. Turn right. School is on the left. Use first driveway to enter for gym and fields.
