DIRECTOR OF LACROSSE OPERATIONS: Darryl Delia enters his second season as an Offensive coordinator with the Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse program.  Coach D is also involved with Progression lacrosse as Head coach of the CT. Seminoles. In each of the last two summers Coach D has led the Seminoles to championships at the prestigous Gait cup and has qualifyied for the NDP national championship in Tampa Florida.  He has guided Nutmeg Lacrosse since it's inception in 2000. At Fairfield, Delia served as the team's offensive coordinator as well as the recruiting coordinator from 2004 to 2008. While at Fairfield he helped lead the 2005 Stags to a Great Western League championship and a NCAA tournament berth. Prior to coaching at Fairfield Delia was the interim head coach at Yale in 2003 and led the Bulldogs a 9-5 record. He served as the head assistant coach at Yale from 1998 to 2002 where his responsibilities included coordinating recruiting activities for the program. He was also the team's offensive coordinator and was responsible for the planning and implementing of off-season workouts for the team. Under his guidance, Yale received back-to-back honors as one of the top-10 offensive teams in the country. He is the director of the Run & Shoot Lacrosse Camps, and is a certified U.S. Progression Lacrosse Inc. Instructor. Delia resides in East Haven, Conn., with his wife, Frances, and their daughters, Danielle and Desiree.
